     The Long Beach Museum of Art recently came up with an idea to allow street artists to paint whatever they wanted on the walls of the museum, free of censorship. The project is called “Vitality and Verve: Transforming the Urban Landscape” and began this running this June.

Ron Nelson, Executive Director of the Long Beach Museum of Art said that the walls will be repainted after the exhibit is over this September.

The Hidden Meltdown of Greenland

Aug. 28, 2015: More than 90 percent of our planet’s freshwater ice is bound in the massive ice sheets and glaciers of the Antarctic and Greenland. As temperatures around the world slowly climb, melt waters from these vast stores of ice add to rising sea levels. All by itself, Greenland could bump sea levels by 7 meters (23 feet) if its ice melted completely.

I respect and admire Michael Moore. If this - his new movie ~ does not INSPIRE Americans ~ esp. young people to demand better ~ Nothing will . .

Last night, an audience the Toronto International Film Festival was treated to the world premiere of the project — and a searing takedown of the military industrial complex it is not. Rather, “Where to Invade Next,” is part travelogue, part love letter to European socialist ideals, and part urgent call to action.

In the film Moore travels through a string of (mostly) European countries and “invades” them by taking back their best progressive ideals and “stealing” them for the U.S. As he put it in a Q&A after the film, Moore didn’t shoot any of the film in the U.S; rather, he felt he could scrutinize “who we are in a more hopefully profound and devastating way by going elsewhere, so we could maybe examine what happened to our American Soul.”

In Italy, Moore revels in the notion of 8 weeks of paid vacation, and 5-month paid maternity leaves.

In France, he is astounded at the healthy and delicious lunches served in even the poorest schools (not to mention the selection of 80 cheeses the school chef prepares for dessert).

He examines the humane Norweigan prison system,

Portugal’s successful decriminalization of drugs,

Slovenia’s free higher education system,

and Finland’s eradication of standardized tests.

He uses Germany as a case study in how to treat your workers — and how come to terms with a painful national past.

And he focuses extensively on the idea that women are the most powerful force for social change, from the many female bankers, politicians and CEOs who have helped remake Iceland to the Tunisian activists who fought successfully for a women’s rights amendment to their constitution.

It was a holiday week, in reverence to the Christian celebration of Good Friday and Easter. However, last week was anything but celebratory for Christians who were attacked both militantly by Islamist extremist in Kenya (147 at least dead), and politically by anti-discrimination groups in Indiana where “Religious Freedom” laws were protested and then reversed. It is all part of the Jupiter (religion and philosophy) – Neptune (faith) – Saturn (laws and repression) configuration that is starting to build up in the cosmos. It won’t peak until late 2015 through 2016.

LONGER-TERM THOUGHTS     “The gunman ordered us to lay down on the ground and we did that. He asked us are you Muslims, and I responded ‘Yes, please don’t kill us, we are Muslims.’” Wall Street Journal, “Islamists Kill Scores in Kenya College Attacks.”

April 3, 2015. It is Easter weekend, a high holy time for Christians, so I thought I would take a moment to discuss the astrological correlations to the religious wars, conflicts, and persecutions going on today. I know it is dangerous to talk about religion and politics. We are taught that at a very young age. But in the typical rebellious and independent Uranian spirit as I am born to be (Uranus near my midheaven at birth), I violate this warning with much generosity. It doesn’t matter.

Someone once told me that what I say is never a problem, until people start to hear/listen to what I say. But since I speak in the language of astrology, and since astrology is seldom taken seriously by serious people who believe they are seriously important, I am not seriously worried.

So let me start by saying that astrology is a serious study, despite the reality that serious people do not seriously think this is so. There is a greater reality, and for those who seriously study astrology, they know.
What do they know?
That serious people don’t generally know that they don’t know. They are too saturnine. And Saturn rules seriousness in the serious study of astrology.

Right now, Saturn (seriousness) is in the sign of Sagittarius, which rules things like folly, righteousness, beliefs, and religion. It will be there until December 20, 2017 (the winter solstice), when it and the Sun move together into the even more serious sign of Capricorn, which Saturn rules. There will be a short interruption June 15-September 18, 2015, when Saturn retrogrades back into Scorpio

So what happens in the field of religion and “personal beliefs” when you combine Saturn (laws and seriousness) with Sagittarius (religion and beliefs)?

You get conflicts between laws and religion, between beliefs and life styles, which gives rise to things like “political correctness.” Now, if ever there was an oxymoron, this is it.

Saturn in Sagittarius is a time when political correctness reaches new heights in serious folly.    We are going into an era where we may try to legislate behavior based on beliefs that are in conflict with one another.

A person whose belief system, based on an upbringing of centuries-old religious “truths” (maybe another oxymoron), may be accused of being discriminatory if he/she refuses to follow a newly created law that is in opposition to those ancient beliefs. If a Christian in Kenya refuses to proclaim he is a Muslim at the point of a gun, he is murdered. If the young daughter of a small restaurant owner, who is a Christian in a small town in Indiana, is asked is asked by a reporter if she would cater a wedding for a gay couple and replies that no, this is against her religious belief, then the owner of the restaurant becomes subject to hate mail and threats.

If a gay couple chooses to marry out of love but is denied service by a commercial vendor because of their beliefs, then this is an act of discrimination that is – or soon to be – likely to result in some sort of felony.

This is the nature of Saturn in Sagittarius. And it is only going to get more difficult as Jupiter (ruler of Sagittarius) will soon move into Virgo and form a square aspect (difficulty reconciling these two principles even further) to Saturn in 2016-2017. Yet it is these very types of debates that lead us to examine the folly of our righteous beliefs in our collective effort to live together harmoniously on this planet.

We are evolving. And right now (through 2020), we are in a major collective evolutionary state of transformation, trying to figure out:

what is real,
what is folly,
and what is “politically correct,” which is itself an exercise in folly because people have different beliefs and …

well, don’t they have the right to their beliefs, at least as long as it doesn’t cause harm to others and isn’t forced upon them at the point of a gun? We are coming out of the most intense and difficult aspects of our lifetime- Uranus square Pluto (June 2012 through March 2015).

And now we are entering a time of serious debate (Saturn) as to what is worth fighting for (Sagittarius).

We must also question:

“Is it worth killing for?
Is it worth dying for?”

Under Saturn in Sagittarius, serious people will unfortunately think the answer to both is “yes.” Wouldn’t it better if serious people could engage in respectful debate and discussion, even if they disagree? That too is possible if we can just agree on the rules of engagement, because if we don’t, we risk the serious consequences of disengagement on a mass level.

What are those consequences?
When people don’t care, they forfeit their rights to those who do.

This is why I love politics. It is the one place where we have the opportunity to debate, discuss, and disagree, and then come to a consensus in a democracy, which itself may be worth fighting for, even dying for.

After all, what is a life without basic human rights, such as freedom to… be? This is the message of Uranus in the language of astrology. This is my Easter/Passover message on the weekend of a powerful lunar eclipse forming a T-square to Uranus and Pluto. Have a happy holiday weekend, especially if you are Christian, Jewish, or any other religion that celebrates this time of the year, for I know this a special season that holds special meaning in your religion(s). You don’t deserve to die, or be threatened, harassed, or persecuted for your beliefs. No one does, as long as those beliefs don’t harm others or interfere with the rights of others to exist and believe according to their conscience.

Helper Souls And Their Mission

Why do people choose to be born into this world? There are as many answers as there are people. Some come here to do something, to experience something, or to learn things they cannot outside this world. It is the same reason people play games or watch movies — they get to experience things they couldn’t otherwise.

Being alive on Earth in a physical body can be difficult. Life is like an obstacle course, weight training program, or crash course in a tough subject. Besides the fun and joy of being alive, there is also anger, fear, and suffering. But the negative stuff is what makes the game challenging and unique. Life is body-building for the soul, and the challenges we face in life are the weights that build up our spiritual muscles if we have the strength to handle them.

Helper Souls: Another reason someone might come here is to help others wake up. That is the risk these helper souls face when incarnating on Earth. They might get so distracted in life that they never discover the higher knowledge within them, failing to do what they came here to do, which is use that knowledge to help others.

Think of a college student who returns to high school to help other students learn things he has already mastered. The problem is that being born wipes your memories of where you came from and who you truly are, as though the college student joins high school having forgotten he already graduated. The subjects might seem strangely familiar and easy to him, and in this way he can still help others. But should he get sucked up into the distractions that come with being a high school student, he might forget even what he learned in college, perhaps even flunk out.

Maybe you are a helper soul. If you enjoy figuring things out, pondering the mysteries of the universe, and feel happy when other people find ways to improve their lives and themselves, then most likely you are a helper soul. If so, it is very important that you devote some time thinking, reading, learning about higher truths in order to familiarize yourself with who you really are and what you really know.

At the core, you already know these truths but have forgotten them. Remembering is difficult because compared to your higher self, the lower self is incredibly asleep and distracted, so recovering what you know deep inside is similar to learning it for the first time. The difference is that if some truth is already within you, learning it again through research, experience, and contemplation will come more quickly, naturally, and with an exciting sense of recognition. You will feel something special when you finally understand what you already know deep down. It carries the ring of truth. Not only will it make sense, but it will feel right. When both the head and heart agree with an idea, pay attention.

The Mission Average people are relatively non-polarized in that they don’t go out of their way to manipulate or help others. They wish only to live a comfortable life and are not interested in learning higher truths if these do not cater to their convenience. They are orderly inhabitants of the energy farm, neither threat to the negative forces nor of critical consequence to the positive forces.

Then there are people born with the potential to make a difference. They show a natural curiosity for higher truths, develop a desire in life to help others, and are endowed with maturity and abilities that seem more advanced than heredity or social programming alone can explain. These are the helper souls mentioned above. More accurately they are SuperHuman souls who have volunteered to incarnate back into regular physical bodies to help bust receptive humans out of the Control System. They are advanced beings born into the Control System to help bring it down from the inside.

Negative forces see helper souls as unpredictable and uncontrollable threats to their agenda. Because the Control System depends on people giving it power through their programmed belief in illusory limitations and ignorance of better alternatives, if enough individuals woke up spiritually and put into practice higher abilities and knowledge, the Control System would surely fall like a house of cards. So aside from manipulating and feeding off humans, negative beings use the Control System to suppress or destroy helper souls before they grow strong enough to accomplish their mission.

The lower half of the Control System (media, schools, military, religion, etc.) manipulates the masses and is mostly a third dimensional operation run by people profiting at the expense of others. The upper half appears to be run by negative astral, alien, and demonic forces who use sophisticated higher dimensional techniques to target helper souls or recruit specific individuals useful to their agenda.

Helper souls serve an important purpose in the divine plan to counter the negative agenda. To the higher positive forces they are like brave paratroopers agreeing to parachute into enemy territory on a dangerous mission of liberation. As mentioned, one risk they face is forgetting who they are when they arrive. Being born as a human infant is extremely traumatizing and the years of social conditioning that follow effectively suppresses their higher abilities and memories. Should they survive the gauntlet with enough of themselves intact, they then stand a chance of accomplishing what they came here to do.

If you are unsure whether you are a helper soul, it doesn’t really matter because you can choose to live like one regardless. All you have to do is think, feel, speak, and act from the highest place within you, to identify and follow those interests originating from the real you (Higher Self), to remove the mask of fears and lowly desires grafted onto you since birth by the Control System. It is by millions of people doing this that pressure builds against the walls of this prison until cracks appear and widen into passages allowing escape.

That sounds dramatic, but in practical terms it means that higher souls who stay true to themselves inspire confidence in others and show them the way toward transcending this physical world. It comes down to maintaining an optimistic attitude that acknowledges and sidesteps pitfalls, making choices based on intuition and wisdom instead of social expectation, and serving the spiritual empowerment of others according to ability and circumstance.

This Eclipse carries multiple layers of symbols and meanings all of which teach us what needs to be worked on and with.

At the most powerful degree of LIBRA, the Blood Moon at the 15th degree symbolizes that this eclipse is all about relationships; peace, harmony, beauty, balance, justice. All about seeing oneself in others. The I-thou relationship is clearly marked. We are all one blood. The Full Moon itself is always a symbol of a fertilized ovum, as the Moon and women’s menstrual cycles are synchronized in natural harmony. Easter is the archetypal symbol of Jesus Christ, as the Sun willingly sacrificing himself and being reborn as a symbol for all humans of eternal life. We can be resurrected now into a new life.

LIBRA’s symbol the scales originate from the ancient Egyptian Goddess MAAT’s golden scales of justice and karma. The archetypal myth is that after death, the human heart is weighed against Maat’s crown of an ostrich feather. If the heart is heavier than the feather, then the soul must return to earth to continue to work on its’ issues until it completes and lets go of its emotional baggage and achieves the requisite, light as a feather heart. This is the key and it’s a beautiful symbol.

The eclipse occurs on the 4th of the 4th and we are working with the four main elements at this eclipse. The realm of the mind, LIBRA air element. The MOON, feelings, water, and the FIRE element of spirit, the Sun in ARIES, the partner of the Moon. LIBRA is ruled by VENUS and she is strong in her Earthy sign of Taurus. There are four directions, the number four is a foundation. It symbolizes POWER.

Tarot, Kabbalah and CELTIC correspondences. LIBRA is symbolized by the Trump of JUSTICE which is the 11th key of the Tarot. Its color is emerald green. Its sound is F#. The symbol means an ox goad. The Hebrew letter is lamed. Aries is the symbol of THE EMPEROR TRUMP # 4. The Emperor is doubly proclaiming loudly. Aries is the new beginning in being the responsible wise leader of your own life. Aries is the I AM principle.

In CELTIC tree lore tradition this time of year is ruled by the ALDER tree. She is connected to water, to Bran, the raven, bringer of magic, Odin’s bird. LIBRA is connected with two trees. The bramble, a vision bringing plant, and IVY which represents the rebirth of all souls. Ivy symbolizes imagination, she is evergreen, related to Bacchus or Dionysus. This fits for the Easter symbolism as well.
