it is hotter this April than last.... I planted lots of seeds last year, after last frost ~ the 1st May. Then the
heat wave came. In June we had 25+days, over 95 + fires. Killed all my seedlings... i was so
discouraged. So ~ with that as learning experience - i think i will wait to plant veggies & some
annual flowers the 1st of July. The first frost if right around Halloween... Plenty of time.
Plus - on a good year the monsoon rains begin in July.... this will be my 2014 gardening experiment.
